the del Ray Bed and Breakfast opened in 2007.  
 
it is located in the middle of a fuji apple orchard,surrounded by other orchards and vineyard and overlooks Osoyoos Lake ( the warmest lake in Canada). We are within 1 mile of Osoyoos and close to several South Okangan Wineries. We are also located in Canada's only desert, the home of a diverse selection of plants and animals, and natural habitat to several endangered species.  
 
the del Ray B&B has three spacious main floor rooms with a view of the lake,and private entrance. Each room has a queen size bed with quality linens, a telephone, internet access, television, and DVD player. The ensuite features a large jacuzzi tub in two of the rooms, the third room has a claw foot tub and a walk-in shower. 
 
A delicious breakfast, using the finest local ingredients when possible, is served to you at your private table in the gazebo (weather permitting) or in the Breakfast Room at a time you request. Our menus often include fresh fruit picked from the tree that morning, home made juice, preserves etc.  
 
The Breakfast Room has a complimentary selection of fresh fruit, freshly baked cookies, cold and hot beverages for our guests to enjoy. 
 
A DVD library and a pocket book exchange, and computer with internet access is available for our guest's use in the Sitting Room.  
 
However, because of our fair climate, most of our guests prefer to sit out on the deck and enjoy the warm evening looking at the starry night over the lake, sipping a glass of fine local wine, smelling the mixed bouquet from the gardens, and watch the quail, humming birds or monarch butterfly meander by.

There is no shortage of activities to do in Osoyoos. 
1. Wine Touring - visit over 20 small estate wineries within a 20 minute drive;enjoy their complimentary samples, go on a tour and learn how they make ice-wine. 
2. Hiking and Biking trails galore. Ride along the bottom of the valley's orchards and vineyards or on the bench above looking down at them - there is a trail to please everyone. 
3. Ecological Experience. Learn about one of North America's most fragile and endangered ecosystems and it's rare inhabitants as well as a lake with 365 spots.  
4. Learn about Canada's First Nation's People. Their Cultural Centre provides an insight into their land, legends and way of life. 
5. Get wet in the warmest lake in Canada. Sit on the sandy beach, swim, waterski or ..... 
6. Sit back in a lawn chair in the middle of an apple orchard and just relax while your five senses are teased with the basics of nature.
