Rental rates are from $37.50 - $75CAN per person per night, including taxes, BASED ON DOUBLE OCCUPANCY FOR 8-12 PEOPLE.

Located in a unique setting only 20 minutes from the US Border, 30 minutes from Pentiction Airport and 4 1/2 hours from Vancouver. Oliver, the "Wine Capital of Canada", is in the Sonora Desert, the northern most desert in North America. It's also known as the "Palm Desert of Canada".  
There are at least 20 award winning wineries close by....Tinhorn Creek, Fairview Cellars, Quinta Ferreira, Hester Creek, Gehringer Brothers, Inniskillin, Road 13, Antelope Ridge, Golden Beaver, Silver Sage and Stoneboat are all easily under a 5 minute drive! Burrowing Owl, Desert Hills, Black Hills, Nk'Mip, See Ya Later, Noble Ridge, Blue Mountain, Wild Goose, Stag's Hollow, Tangled Vine, Blasted Church and Oliver Twist (there's still more!) are within 10 -20 minutes away.  
Fairview Mountain Golf Club, rated 5th in the province, and Inkameep Canyon Desert Golf Course are under a 5 minute drive. 36 Hole Osoyoos Golf & Country Club, Sonora Dunes (next to award winning Nk'Mip Cellars), Twin Lakes Golf and St. Andrew by the Lake, are within 15 minutes, and many more towards Penticton.  
The hills and landscapes in the surrounding hills are beautiful, with stunning views. In the evening, enjoy fantastic star gazing and shooting stars after a tasty BBQ on the deck. Play bocce (Italian lawn bowling), horseshoes, badminton or volleyball on the huge expanse of lawn. A gamesroom in the basement with ping pong table, foosball and darts is available for our guests enjoyment. There is a 20' x 40' saltwater pool with outdoor shower to lounge beside. The pool is heated with solar, so that we can usually heat from mid-May right up until October.  
The 5 bedroom house (1 king, 4 queens and 1 double) was redecorated over the last year with an eclectic mix of antiques and contemporary decor. There is a large sundeck, with loads of outdoor furniture, umbrellas and a barbeque. Hiking and biking all around, with just a 3 minute drive, or 15 minute walk to downtown Oliver. We are a working farm, so there are organic apple, cherry, walnut and plum trees, along with organic wine and table grapes available for picking during season. You can easily walk next door to buy hot house tomatoes, cucumbers and red peppers from the neighbouring acreage.  
We are also located only 45 minutes from Apex Mountain, renowned for consistantly great weather and impressive powder for skiers and snowboarders. The resort also offers easy access to exceptional cross-country and snowshoeing trails. Oliver's own Mount Baldy Resort has daily bus departures 3 minutes from our property at 7:30am, returning at 4:35pm, and boast's a new "Sugar Lump Quad Chair" opening Feb. 2009.  
This is an ideal getaway retreat for families, 4- 6 couples or a singles group, to relax and enjoy a wine or golf tour. We've had several small family reunions at the property, as the large grass area is ideal for larger gatherings. We've also had wedding parties/guests stay before, during and after the nuptials that were held close by.  
Children with responsible adults are absolutely welcome.  
Available year round for minimum 3 night stays, with weekly only in July and August.

    RATES ARE FROM $37.50 - $75 PER PERSON PER NIGHT INCLUDING TAXES, BASED ON 8-12 PEOPLE & DOUBLE OCCUPANCY. (eg: 12 people @ $600 nt = $50 per person) Rates are high season priced for holidays, eg: Long weekends, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Spring Break etc. Deposit - 25-50% upon booking (depends on month of booking), with the balance and damage deposit due the week before arrival. All taxes are included and a standard cleaning fee is also applicable. Cancellation Policy - As per our Short Term Rental Agreement. All monies, aside from a $150 booking fee, will be refunded if we are able to rent to another group. Payment Method - cheque or money order. WE ALSO ACCEPT PAYPAL(with fee)

    Our group of 8 had a fantastic extended weekend in mid-September. The location was beautiful and quiet but still close to everything we could have possibly needed. The boys golfed and the girls toured wineries (so many in the area that we couldn't have possibly seen every one!). The accomodations were superb. Lots of room to roam. Everything from towels & bedding to electronics provided! The beds were comfy and the dining table was big enough to seat us all easily. We would highly recommend Stonehouse Vineyard! There has even been talk of making this an annual event!
