Vacation Rental Description

Main floor of home, fully equipped kitchen with dining area. It has been freshly remodelled with new flooring throughout and bath with twin sinks and tub/shower. All linens supplied for your use. Pantry with stacking washer and dryer. Barbeque available. Deck with lake and beach view and also a sitting area at the main door. Lush with lovely trees, etc.

We will only allow a small dog. No other pets. No smoking allowed indoors.

Our suite can be rented by the month at $1800. from Sept.1, 2011 to June 1, 2012.

Silver Star Ski Village is only 20 minutes away and has a great snow base. Many of the Olympic skiers from all over the world came her to practice last year. It is a breath taking view and the runs are for every type of skier, beginner or advanced. It is a wonderful little village and doesn't have long line ups like Whistler, or Banff areas. The sun is always shining up their and the weather never gets to be very cold.

This is the ultimate location. You feel like you are lakefront as you are higher up than street below, right across the gravel road below is most popular beach Kalamalka Beach! You will enjoy beautiful lake views from front windows and also front patio deck of house. There is a really great corner store just around the corner should you need a newspaper or maybe some produce, deli item, an ingredient for your cooking or just a frosty cappuccino to cool you down. There are many water sports you can do in this area, as well as, tennis, golf, horseback riding to keep you active. This is a very peaceful area and the lake twinkles magically by nightfall, one of the best kept secrets of the interior, you are sure to have a most enjoyable and relaxing vacation at this very special place!

Wow, I just have to comment on what an awesome choice this ended up being for our family! The kids spent hours and hours every day at Kalamalka beach just a stones throw from our front patio. They got full mileage out of the candy store just around the corner from us dropping in for a slurpee when the day got really hot. Our place was meticulously clean, had everything we could need and had a very up to date stylish decor. What an amazing view and so pretty at night looking out at the lake. We just loved the area and found it very peaceful as it was not too busy or crowded. We left feeling relaxed and reenergized for our return to the treadmill in Vancouver! We will be back next summer for sure! Thanks so much!

Spectacular Vernon Holiday Home

Our two bedroom suite is a dream come true as it is fully furnished and has such an incredible view of KALAMALKA Lake from all windows. It is a lake of many colours like the Caribeaan. Absolutely gorgeous. Trust me, you will want to come back!!
