Vacation Rental Description
This home has 70 feet of decks and eight feet high windows in a vaulted greatroom. Overlooks a beautiful small, quiet, sheltered bay across from Canada's newest (Gulf Islands) National Park. Handicap friendly and wheelchair accessible. It has two floors, two bathrooms, three bedrooms and a den. There is one king size bed, one queen, and three single beds. Kitchen facilities include stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, pots and silverware. There's also a gas BBQ, washer and dryer. Linen is available for all beds and bathrooms. Furnishings are rustic and the heat is electric. There are lots of board games and puzzles for indoor play. The house is also equipped with a 25" TV and VCR. 
Shingle Bay is very sheltered and is ideal to kayak from. As well as the property’s accessible shore, there are two public beaches (one with swings and picnic tables) within a five minute walk, and more beaches and playgrounds a short drive away. Stairs access a dock. rowboat and tiny private beach. 
Pender Island is actually made up of North and South Pender Islands. The islands are located in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada close to the Canada/U.S. border. The islands offer all the basics including a bank, a liquor store, gas station, bakery, restaurants, pubs, grocery stores, & medical clinic, as well as craft stores, library and clothing shops. Outdoor enthusiasts have their choice of a range of activities including: 
 
• 18 hole Golf & 27 hole Frisbee Golf 
• Hike in Canada's Newest National Park 
• Swimming in Buck Lake (if you stay there) or Magic Lake
