Nestled in a picturesque cove on Pender Island, our cottage is an ideal romantic escape. Ideally located between Vancouver and Victoria, we are easily accessible by car ferry.
Set in a lush country garden of flowers, ferns, vegetables and herbs, our cottage features tall paned windows overlooking the ocean, a cozy wood burning fireplace, gourmet kitchen and comfortable bedroom with a deck overlooking the sea. The barbeque, fresh herbs from the garden and seafood from a local dock tempt you to pamper yourself with a gourmet meal.
In the summer evenings, relax over a candelight dinner on your seaside deck and watch the herons fish for their evening meal. If it is cooler, snuggel up in fron of the fireplace with a glass of wind or a good book and let the peaceful, soothing surroundings work their charm.
Our unique west coast setting offers a natural, rural seaside setting where you can sit on rocky bluffs and watch the eages, seals, dolphins and whales. Explore the seashore by kayak or take a boat tour and try your hand at fishing. Hike our many parks and trails, play a round of golf or sample the wines from our nearby wineries. Dine out at one of ourrestaurants or seaside pubs. Take a day to vist the quanit capital city of Victoria and the famous Butchart Gardens or spend a day island hopping to our nearby islands.
Galleries, restaurants and shops are scattered throughout the island. There is a bank, pharmacy, liquor store, post office and grocery stores and a gas station.
Pender Island offers a Mediterranean climate with only 50 cm of rain a year. Over 25% of our island is parkland. Spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife and a laid back lifestyle await you.
