Mayne Island is the most historical of the Gulf Islands situated between Vancouver and Victoria. There are about 1100 full-time residents. 
 
Our 2800sqft house was built in 2008 and features glass, wood, granite and slate throughout. A unique feature is the bridge over the living and dining area to a cozy upper deck area. 
 
You will find lots of space for your relaxing vacation. It's a great place for couples or families.  
 
The property has west facing ocean views of Active Pass and the mountains of Vancouver Island beyond. The vast, expansive surroundings make for a wildlife/bird-watcher's paradise! 
 
The master bedroom features a canopy bed, with private access to the decks. 
 
Bicycles on site for use. A good swimming beach is a short ride or walk away. There are two grocery stores, a wonderful bakery, pub and several restaurants on the island. 
 
You can get to Mayne Island (Village Bay) by taking a BC Ferry from Victoria (Swartz Bay) or Vancouver (Tsawwassen). See BC Ferries website for schedules for the Southern Gulf Islands. 
 
In 2009 and 2010 we added Cable TV, High Speed Wireless Internet, a fully functioning pub-style wet bar, old saloon style piano, and games room!

    We ask for 50% deposit to hold your dates. Full refund if you cancel more than 60 days in advance. If we can re-book your time after that we still issue a refund. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival. 2011 Summer rates $295/night $1960/week. Rates based on 3 night minimum, 6 people. Call/email for rates for larger groups. Contact us for lower Fall/Winter/Spring rates (Oct-Apr excl Spring Break) No rentals to Under 25 age group. Check in 4pm Check out 11am.This is a no pets/non-smoking property. We will provide bank details and payment options.
