Our luxury 2 & 3 bedroom, fully self-contained cottages, have 180° views of the River. The best of Tumut Accommodation, Elm Cottage, offers a perfect escape for a relaxing holiday. 
 
Whilst at the property experience seeing a wombat, echidna and platypus in their natural habitat and during the winter months of June, July & August, bring the kids along to feed the poddy lambs and meet Simon our pet Friesian Steer. 
 
Elm Cottage is your home away from home. Enjoy a drink on the balcony and watch the sheep and cows meander past, take a stroll along the two miles of river bank, fish for trout, swim at our private sandy beach, and in the evening, with crystal clear skies, enjoy some stargazing, then curl up to sleep to the sounds of the river below. 
 
The RiverGum Cottage 
RiverGum cottage has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. A queen bed in the master bedroom with private Ensuite and walk in robe, the second bedroom a king bed, both of these rooms have sliding doors leading out on to the balcony and the third bedroom has a bunk bed and single bed. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave etc., plus separate dining room, lounge room with TV, DVD, and Stereo player. Full reverse cycle air conditioning and a full bathroom with bath, and laundry with washing machine, dryer plus another shower and toilet. Your Private balcony has a BBQ and you have 180 degree views of the river below and rural surrounds. 
 
The RedGum Cottage 
RedGum cottage has a king size bed in one room with private ensuite and bath spa, and the second bedroom has two king single beds with ensuite. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave etc., separate dining room, lounge room with TV, DVD and CD player. Full reverse cycle air conditioning and a laundry with washing machine, and dryer. You have a huge balcony with BBQ and outdoor setting overlooking the river below. 
 
The BlueGum Cottage 
BlueGum cottage has a queen size bed in the main bedroom and a double bunk in the second bedroom. Lounge room, eat in area, fully equipped kitchen, laundry with washing machine and dyer, and bathroom with shower. Reverse cycle heating and cooling, TV, DVD, and CD player. You also have a large balcony with BBQ overlooking the river below. 
 
The RiverEdge Cottage 
River's Edge Cottage was built in 1905 and is just 18 metres from the river's edge. It is in a very private setting with magnificent 100 year old English Elm trees surrounding the cottage along with beautiful established gardens. It has a well equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath and separate shower, reverse cycle air conditioning in lounge room with TV, DVD and Austar.  
 
3 very large bedrooms and a single room, two bedrooms with king size beds, one with queen and the fourth bedroom has a single bed. Laundry with washing machine and dryer. Half acre fully enclosed backyard great for the dogs when you take a trip into KNP or into town. A large balcony shaded by two Avocado trees and Macadamia tree overlooking the gardens and river, plus your own outdoor setting and BBQ. Plus under cover parking. 
 
A CD, DVD and book library is available at no charge so you can pick a movie or movies to watch and just return on your departure. A large selection to choose from for both adults and children. Being rated "41/2 Star" there is nothing to bring except groceries (linen and towels included) which can be purchased here in Tumut as we have both Coles Supermarket (open to midnight) and Woolworths (open to 10pm). Dogs allowed inside cottages, but not on furniture or bedding. All damage must be paid for.

• Travel Info: Elm Cottage is located approximately halfway between Sydney and Melbourne. We are located 14kms east of Tumut, 35kms south of Gundagai, in the Snowy Mountains Region. We are 4 hrs drive from Sydney, 5 1/2 from Melbourne, 2 hours from Canberra and an hour from Wagga Wagga.
