Vacation Rental Description
Baan Sasima offers you a peaceful tropical hideaway in an elevated location with stunning views of the azure blue Andaman sea and the golden beaches of Surin and Bangtao just 10 minutes walk away. The villa has a beautiful infinity edge pool with built in jacuzzi, a private gym and a large poolside sala with comfortable cushions from which to watch the stunning sunsets. Also on the pool level is the lounge and bar with a large fridge and icemaker, satellite TV and DVD player. The villa has four bedrooms, all airconditioned and with ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom is on the pool level and is also equipped with a jacuzzi bath and a ceiling fan. The three other bedrooms are on the level below, two are large with queen sized beds and ensuite baths and showers, one is a smaller twin room with ensuite shower room. All have ensuite WC and seaviews and there is an additional WC on both the dining level and near the pool, as well as a poolside shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, oven, microwave, breakmaker, coffeemachine, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The adjacent dining room also has both air conditioning and ceiling fans and al fresco meals can be enjoyed outside on the terrace overlooking the pool and the sea beyond. The garden is lush and tropical with ponds full of fish, terrapins and tiny chirping frogs. At the entrance there is secure undercover parking for two cars. Daily maid, laundry service, breakfast and airport transfers are included in the rental price. For a small extra fee we can arrange a Thai chef to come and cook lunch or dinner, although there are numerous excellent restaurants within walking distance, some of which are also happy to deliver food to the villa. Other nearby hotels include the exclusive Amanpuri on the headland just below the villa, The Chedi and Twin Palms. We can also arrange babysitting and rental car and driver if required at extra cost. Baan Sasima is an oasis - the villa is not overlooked, yet is close to restaurants, night life and Phuket's most beautiful beaches. Scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing, sea kayaking and golf are just some of the activities within easy reach if you can ever tear yourself away from this villa and Phuket airport is only 25 minutes drive away. Our villa manager can be contacted to help with excursions and give tips on where to shop, spa treatments, Thai massage etc and our regularly updated guest book is also a mine of information.
Facilities
The villa has its own air conditioned gym with cross trainer, treadmill, hand weights, fit ball, floor mat and satellite TV. The gym also houses our steadily growing library. The covered, fan-cooled poolside sala is the best place to relax on hot afternoons and behind the bar you will find a variety of games and drawing paper and pencils, as well as a safe for locking away your valuables.
Activities
Scuba diving can be arranged locally - there are a couple of dive sites just off Bangtao Beach and of course superb diving in the nearby Similan Islands and at Phi Phi Island. Sea kayaking around Phang Nga is a worthwhile trip, with the opportunity to get close to wildlife and admire the extraordinary rock formations, caves and inland lakes. Phuket also offers a variety of unusual pasttimes including go-karting, bungee jumping and elephant riding. For jungle trekking head for nearby Khao Lak National Park or for a short local hike head for the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project and cool off in the waterfall and pond. The possibilities are endless!

The rates shown are for the villa using all four bedrooms. We can offer a reduction of USD 50 per day for each unused bedroom (eg USD 500 for two bedrooms in October)and a 10% discount for stays of 10 days or more. For two adults in the Master Bedroom only we can offer a special rate of USD 450 per day (Nov.to April) and USD 350 per day (May to Oct.). Please note that this rate is not available during peak season (Dec.20th to Jan.20th) and that Chinese New Year and Easter weeks are also subject to the peak season rate of USD 1100/day. To secure a booking we require a 10% non-refundable deposit with the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. On arrival we also take a security deposit equal to one day's rental, which is then returned to the guests on the day of departure providing no major damage has been done.
