Vacation Rental Description

Villa Nirvana is a beautiful villa set in the hills of the private Santi Thani Estate. The villa has been cleverly designed to incorporate a wealth of advantages including light, airy rooms, cool dispersal of breezes throughout the house, stunning views over the Gulf of Siam, plenty of different areas for people to sit and relax and a general feeling of ease. It is a very welcoming villa and is extremely popular with people who have visited in the past, as can be witnessed from the many enthusiastic 'write ups' in the guest books. There are stunning unspoilt beaches minutes away from the villa by car. On these beaches there are several restaurants serving both delicious Thai and International food. There are also food and clothes shops, open markets and supermarkets within 10 minutes of the villa. Whether you are looking for a quiet 'chill out' holiday, romance or sporting fun, you will find that the villa supports your mood and is always a welcome home to walk into.

The town of Nathon is ten minutes drive from the house where you can go to local markets and find clothes shops, arts and crafts stores as well as chemists and a Tesco store. Ten minutes in the opposite direction there is the small town of Maenam where there are many restaurants and small shops as well as the Maenam beach on which there are plenty of bars and restaurants. There are also fresh food markets here as well as small supermarkets where you can buy most essentials. The nearest night spot to the villa is the fisherman’s village of Bophut (15 minutes drive) which is full of bars, restaurants and shops. Bohput stays open until the early hours. The Santiburi Golf Course is under 10 minutes away as is the Santiburi Hotel where you can play tennis and shower before having a cocktail on the beach. In the villa you will find information about all the things you can do and see as well as restaurants and previous guest’s tips for a good holiday in the guest books.

As part of a family holiday cum wedding trip we had the fortunate experience to stay in this delightful villa.
The villa itself is in a superb position. Very quiet spot but with fantastic far reaching views. Internally the rooms are spacious and airy, providing everything you need for ease and comfort. Outside there is an impressive infinity pool with jacuzzi and large relaxing patio area. All surrounded by well kept landscaped gardens.

Nearby is the town of Nathon for shopping including a Tesco - you can even get clubcard points !. There are local restaurants within easy reach too. We also used the services of Poo for deliveries to the villa. Certainly service with a smile !.

We must mention Emma, the manageress, who proved to be excellent with her help and advice. Much appreciated.
All in all - a wonderful villa in a wonderful setting.

The house comprises of large galleried hallway leading to the sitting room and separate TV room on one side and the dining room and kitchen on the other side. all these rooms have french doors leading out onto the pool. There is a large patio area outside the dinning room for al fresco eating and a Sala with sun loungers in it for those who prefer a little shade. It is fully equipped and towels and linen are provided.

Golf /Tennis/Activities Golf. The Santiburi golf club is a challenging 72 par course. It is about 10 minutes away from the villa. You can play 'twilight' there after 3.00pm for a reduced rate.It is worth getting there early enough for a beer and a club sandwich in the impressive clubhouse and then hitting practice balls before your tee off time. Also it is certainly worth doing a bit of putting on the practice green. The greens are like quicksilver and hard to read! You can hire clubs. Tennis. The Santiburi Hotel has floodlit Tennis Courts and you can book these. We like to play early in the morning, but have played in the evenings and then used their smart changing rooms for showers and gone on out for the evening. You can hire rackets and balls. Windsurfing. The Zazen Hotel just past Maenam has windsurfers for hire, as do several of the Hotels locally and in the Town of Chaweng.

30% deposit is required on confirmation of booking dates. The remainder of the booking fee is payable 30 days in advance of the arrival date. This is a non- returnable deposit but can be used against a future booking within 9 months of cancellation. This can be used by friends or family as well.Payment can be made by electronic transfer or cheque. The price of your villa includes your transfers to and from the Airport. Linen is included in the price of the villa. The price of your villa includes maid service twice weekly and a change of linen and towels every three days. There are swimming towels available for your use. During your stay your pool will be maintained and cleaned and the garden will be watered and kept. Our house manager Emma Derbyshire, lives close by and is thereto make sure that you have a great holiday. We can arrange car hire, at local rates, and the car delivered to the villa for you.
