The Mango House Villa is one of Thailand’s most unique and special places to stay. Where else in the world can you actually live directly over the water with incredible view over 7 tropical islands nearby. Lanta Old Town is located on the nature-rich, east coast of Koh Lanta, in the southern Thailand Krabi and is a 15 minute motorbike drive to the beaches and tourist areas on the west coast so the village still remains culturally quaint and charming. Mango House Villa is a perfect place for individuals wanting a real Thai cultural experience or those seeking complete privacy and relaxation.
Sitting next to the fisherman’s pier, is the newly renovated, 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa (maximum 8 people) features a large private garden balcony located directly over the sea and featuring uninterrupted views of the harbor and the tropical islands that surround Old Town.
Inside, the funky villa has vaulted ceilings with old teak wood floors and walls with a private bedroom, large living area, small kitchen and western-style, hot water bathroom. The living area includes a TV and DVD player, small library and wireless internet connection. The Bedroom 1 features a king-sized bed with mosquito net and fan, hardwood furniture and is accessorized with mood lighting and silk pillows.
Bedroom 2 is air-conditioned and is ideal for couples or small families with two separate, western-style hot water bathrooms and a small kitchen. This elegant second bedroom has vaulted ceilings and old teak wood floors with a small living area living area complete with TV and DVD player and wireless internet connection. The bedroom features a king-sized bed and two single beds with mosquito nets, fans, hardwood furniture and accessorized with mood lighting and silk pillows.

The unit has a luxurious king-sized bed with mosquito net and fan, hardwood furniture and is accessorized with silk pillows and side lamps. The Villa includes a private and well-appointed, western-style hot water bathroom and small kitchen. One extra bed with mosquito net and fan is possible. (2 Extra beds. Maximum 3 people.)
The Mango House Café + Bar is located at the street entrance near the villa in a 70-year old Chinese wooden shophouse that once served as a legal Opium Den for merchant sailors and the locals.

Welcome to Lanta Old Town... located at the end of the world! My name is Duane Lennie (orignally from Canada) and I've been renovating Mango House villas for the past five years. We've tried to make your stay at a Mango House villa or suite as authentic and as comfortable as possible. The real star of each unit is the incredible lounge decks you get directly over the sea with incredible views of seven islands in the habour.
The town is great for those wanting to recharge their batteries with relation and privacy ammonng real Thai culture and possibly the most amazing village for inexpensive fresh seafood and Thai classics. Mango House compliments these great local restaurants with some of Thailand's most talked about BBQ burgers, western-style breakfasts and Lavazza Coffee.
Te village is a short drie to thhe (tourist) side of te island and ten great beaches but you can also access priate island beaches just minttes from your room.
