Famous tourist places like Sanur and Kuta beach are easily reached by car in approximately 40 minutes, the airport in Denpasar in approximately 1 hour. Villa Uma Santosa is an ideal starting point for excursions and exploring the green and rural Bali. At short distance there is a small supermarket and a plaza with several warungs where you can eat very good and cheap. 
 
The adjacent river, where a part of everyday life takes place, provides you very nice pictures. Children play and swim in the river and the women of the village do their laundry. Go there for some chit - chat with the neighbours and learn everything about the Balinese lifestyle. If you’re lucky they will even invite you for a cup of coffea or a Balinese temple ceremony. 
 
When you enter the main gate, you feel as if you enter a real Balinese compound with a big pond with goldfish and lotus flowers. Of course the villa with the best view is Villa Uma Santosa. It has been recently renovated to provide you with all the modern comfort. 
 
The open kitchen has a big, cosy table with 6 chairs and is the central spot of the villa. Here you can have your breakfast or drink a cup of coffee while you enjoy the magnificent view. Everything is there to prepare your own meal but you can also visit the nearby Hotel Villa Taman di Blayu (walking distance) to have your breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you are lucky, there is even a wedding that will take place with music and dance. 
 
The two bedrooms are next to each other, each with their own entrance next to the kitchen. Both rooms have airco, bath, shower and toilet. The front bedroom has a terrace with comfortable chairs, perfect to have your sundowner. 
 
In the well maintained garden you will find all kinds of orchids and for your comfort there is also a bale (gazebo) where you can relax or read your book.
