The people are charming and friendly and the prices so reasonable it is hardly worth cooking for yourself but if you want to then food can be bought in the small supermarket.
The nearby beach is practically deserted except when a Hindu festival is being celebrated there and is a wonderful place for an early morning dip.
Diving of course is one of the main attractions and the wreck of the Liberty Bell is to be found at Tulamben about a 10 minute drive away.
If you don´t wish to hire a car then air port collection and any trips you would like to make can be arranged at very reasonable rates.
