Vacation Rental Description
Sandybanks is situated on Thesen Island, on the water's edge of Knysna Lagoon. It has beautiful views across the lagoon back to Knysna Quays and Knysna town. 
 
The house offers flexible accommodation for 2 - 8 guests. There is a 3 bedroom "boathouse" sleeping 6 and a one bedroom "boathouse" sleeping 2, which can be combined into a single unit sleeping 8. Both units are fully equipped and offer luxury accommodation. All linen and bath towels are provided and guests just need to bring beach towels. 
 
The 3 bedroom unit is modern with an open plan living area and wonderful lagoon views. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with bath and shower and a balcony overlooking the lagoon. There are two other bedrooms and a family bathroom also with bath and shower. Outside there are decks for al fresco dining and a salt chlorinated swimming pool. 
 
The 1 bedroom unit is one of the nicest you are likely to find in Knysna. It is extremely spacious and also has wonderful views across the lagoon. It has its own lounge with wood burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, and a separate dining area. Upstairs there is a spacious bedroom with twin beds, a balcony overlooking the lagoon, and a luxury en suite with bath, shower, and double vanity. 
 
We have two bicycles and two Kayaks that guests are most welcome to use to explore the islands.

    		  Low Season Price: R2,400 per Day
      High Season Price: R4,000 per Day
         

    We require a 50% deposit to confirm a booking with the balance due 2 weeks prior to arrival. We also require a refundable breakages deposit of 1 night's rental that is returned on satisfactory property inspection. The rate for the 1 bedroom unit is 600 Rand - 1200 Rand depending on season and length of stay The rate for the 3 bedroom unit is 1200 Rand - 3300 Rand depending on season, length of stay and number of guests. Cancellation policy: In the event of premature departure we may charge for the full original booking. Cancellation 0 - 14 days before date of arrival, or no-show - visitor forfeits 100% of deposit paid. Cancellation 15 - 28 days before date of arrival - visitor forfeits 75% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater). Cancellation 29+ days before date of arrival - visitor forfeits 50% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater).
