Riverview is a residential development in Hout Bay. Hout Bay is a beautiful harbour village surrounded by mountains. The apartment is on the ground floor. It has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and patio doors leading onto a grassed area.The second bedroom has two single beds and is situated at the front of the apartment.There is one large bathroom with a shower,bath, toilet and basin.The lounge has patio doors leading out to a patio with braai area. The kitchen and dining area is attached to the lounge. There is a TV and video.The kitchen has a fridge freezer and a washing machine.The apartment is fully equipped for 4 people.It looks out over the river although this is obscured at certain times of the year by foliage. 
There is a small swimming pool in the complex. The apartment has an adjacent covered car space.  
Hout Bay is a small bustling town that is suitable for all ages.The harbour area is a working fishing port with shops and seal tours. The beach is fun to explore, surf, swim,run and walk. The restaurant Dunes is a wonderful place to eat, meet friends and have arelaxing drink looking over the beach. 
There is a Sunday Market selling local produce and arts and crafts.

    • There is a private braai area. Towels are provided for use in the apartment and there are limited pool towels. There is an optional cleaning service if required and this can be arranged on arrival. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower.

    • The beach is a short 10 minute walk, there are restaurants, bars ans cafes around this resort. There are 3 small supermarkets and a good selection of banks and shops.A new tourist info centre has recently opened called TOBI's. You can access all local information here, use the internet and have a coffee.You can also book a Township Tour. Henri's is great for pancakes and has a wonderful curio shop. 
    Every Sunday there is a craft market next to Riverview it is full of local arts ,crafts and tempting food. For christians St.Peters gives a warm welcome as does the International Church and Valley Road Church. Marion Franke who manages our apartment will be happy to give any local information on arrival.

    The rates quoted are per person per night.A deposit of 30% is required with the balance payable on arrival. In most cases the deposit is non refundable. I now have an arrangement with a local tourist info centre TOBI's that will handle the deposit for me in Hout Bay.
