In the exotic and exciting heart of the old town of Marrakech you will find Riad Timila, a peaceful and romantic retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Riad Timila is built around two central courtyards, one with a fountain, the other with a beautiful dark blue pool. On the ground floor is the four bedded room, a kitchen, the salon, the media room (flat screen TV with Sky, dvds etc), a dining area, and a stunning bhou (an open lounging area perfect for cocktails), as well as a double room with king-size bed and fabulous bathroom. On the first floor are three double rooms (two with ensuite shower rooms and one with both bath and shower), and the amazing master suite complete with superking bed, fireplace and its own private terrace. The roof provides a double terrace with views of both the Atlas mountains and the Koutoubia mosque, a service kitchen with drinks fridge, a hammam and a massage room. There’s also a dining area that can seat twenty people, comfortable sunbeds, a shower for cooling off and additional seating.

The views from our roof terraces are simply spectacular, with the sun rising across the Atlas mountains, and setting behind the Koutoubia mosque.

Equipped with comfortable sunloungers, a shower and numerous seating areas, the roof is the perfect place to completely absorb the amazing atmosphere of Marrakech.

*Pool The pool is a delight. Designed to provide a cool place to sit and enjoy a cocktail in the heat of the summer, it is heated so can be used all year. It forms a beautiful and tranquil focus to the courtyard. Please be aware however that it is not fenced off, and is therefore unsafe for unsupervised children. *Media Room Our media room is fully specified for high tech entertainment, with plasma TV, DVD, music systems, games and even jigsaws for the very occasional rainy day. The entire house is wi-fied up, so you can send emails from the roof terrace if you can’t leave work behind. • Travel Info: Getting to Marrakech is easy and reasonable. It’s a three hour flight from London, and then a fifteen minute taxi ride to the main square, where Brahim will meet you and guide you to the riad. There are daily flights with Easyjet, Ryanair, Atlas Blue and Royal Air Maroc from Gatwick, Luton, Manchester and Heathrow.
