Vacation Rental Description
Madagascar lies off the east coast of Africa and is the world’s fourth largest island. It is unique. The animals, plants and people are unlike anywhere else. This extraordinary country has long remained obscure as a destination and is little known even amongst the most serious of travellers. Nosy Be is a smaller island off the North West coast and has become the favourite destination for tourists – small in number though they are. Coastal views are spectacular and there are some excellent beaches. The presence of coral reefs means that the sand is white or golden and more often than not a lagoon completes the perfect picture. Nosy Be enjoys a tropical climate all year round, with average temperatures higher than the rest of Madagascar. From 27°C in July-August (the winter season ) to 35°C in February –March. The rainy season lasts from January to March. 
 
You would be met at Nosy Be airport by our staff. (Return flights from Milan c. €900 depending on time of year - contact us for details). French and English spoken. 24 hour maid/caretaker service available. Tourism is largely undeveloped, nevertheless there are quality restaurants within minutes of the villa.. On the same beach as the villa is a restaurant serving meals all day long. It is possible to prepare your own meals in the villa and eat on the magnificent terraces – or speak to your maid and she can organise for a local chef to come and prepare meals for you. On site we have a Malagasy sailing boat and staff can take you on your own trip round the islands. Nearby is the Lokobe Reserve where lemurs, snakes and rare birds unique to Madagascar can be seen. On many beaches spectacular sunsets can be witnessed. It is possible to cycle all round the island in a day on the bicycles available at the villa. Among the aficionados Nosy Be is a recognised place for great diving.
