2 Bedroom Villa in Cape Verde Islands

The villa is on a fabulous small development in Santa Maria, in our opinion by far the best to be found on all the islands. Our villa is a directly onto the beach with the patio and roof terrace looking out to sea and across the bay. A few metres away is the old slave harour, which is now only for swimming, and has its own small beach incorporated. Papayas bar and restaurant is on the far arm of the harbour about 30 metres away and is quiet and gives fabulous vies across the bay. Porto Antigos swimming pool is about 15 metres from the villa and is lit at night and rarely busy. The villa has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and other with 2 singles. There is a sofa bed in the living area. The kitchen diner is well fitted out. Linen is changed once a week but we ask guests to bring their own towels, though these can be hired over there. Many restaurants and bars in town are a 2 minute walk away.

Porto Antigo is the best positioned of all Sal developments, being based around the old slave harbour on one side and the old fort on the other. There is a gorgeous restaurant and bar on one of the harbour walls that looks out across the bay. The small harbour is now only for swimming and allows a gentle swim away from the heavy Cape Verdean breakers. There is private security 24 hours a day and villa has a safe. Villa 9 is one of the few that directly faces the private beach.
