Vacation Rental Description

1 bed apartment on the first floor of the prestigious Porto Antigo 2 complex. All furniture and fittings have been carefully chosen and shipped over from the UK personally by the owners. There are superb unobstructed views of the pool, beach and bay of Santa Maria from the spacious balcony; ideal for watching the fishermen return with their daily catch to the pier, whilst sipping your favourite drink. The apartment is south facing making full use of the year round sunshine. Porto Antigo 2 has a unique, tranquil setting which borders the white sandy beach yet is only a short stroll from the captivating town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.Porto Antigo is 1 of only a few developments in Santa Maria to benefit from a large freshwater swimming pool. There are sun loungers round the pool on the sun deck and we provide cushions for these which are kept in the apartment. The complex is attractively landscaped as the photographs show and you are literally only steps away from the beach and sea. The complex has a prime beach-front setting and the one of the best beaches on the island is literally on the doorstep. It is perfect for a wide range of watersports or simply swimming, sunbathing and relaxing in the fantastic year round climate.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 - king size bed, 2 bedside cabinets with lamps. Large triple wardrobe with mirror and extra storage. Bathrooms: Modern bathroom with walk in shower and vanity sink unit. Towels, including beach towels provided. Kitchen: Well equipped new kitchen complete with all necessary cooking utensils to self cater. Gas hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, electric kettle and toaster. Dining table and 4 chairs. Living Rooms: The living room has a double sofa bed, flat screen satellite TV and DVD player. There is a coffee table and additional storage in the corner unit. Large sliding patio doors lead out onto the balcony. Other: Spacious furnished balcony with 2 reclining chairs, plus table and chairs for dining outside. All linen including towels and beach towels included. The apartment is cleaned and linen changed once a week. Additional cleaning and/or change of linen is available but please note this would be at your own cost and paid direct to reception.

What a beautiful place enjoyed our stay.The apartment is first class the fittings the best we have ever
had in any apartment.The position super having breakfast on the good sized balcony overlooking the
sea made you think you were in the caribbean with a much better beach.Thanks for a lovely holiday
