As Northstar is situated in the mountains it is more quite an adventurous village, so realistically it's not really for those just wanting a relaxed vacation as you will have to do some sort of activity to get to the cabin - such as skiing or snowboarding in the winter or mountain biking or hiking in the summer. However this does not mean you cant enjoy a nice relaxing vacation in this beautiful village, there are many local shops and markets where you can pick up some local souvenirs and foods which will come in handy when you want to spend that quite evening in, in your self catering property. If you're up for challenges then this is definitely the place for you, throughout the summer they hold hold many dirt bike competitions which are always good fun to watch or participate in (for those brave enough).

The locals are always happy to include visitors, especially as they love to show off their village. They hold many ski and snowboard competitions - which is great for those who are looking for a vacation in the winter. So if you're up for a bit of mountain biking, skiing, white water rafting or even just a little hike through the mountains then this is perfect for your holiday, also what makes this village so spectacular is that it's very well known for it's art which is why they have many art galleries so you will definitely have a choice of gifts and souvenirs to take home.
