If you manage to run out of things to do in Florence which is impossible considering the amount of art galleries and museums and amount of fashion designers have their headquarters shops situated here including Prada, Gucci, Ferragamo and many others to name a few so you can always get stuck into a bit of retail therapy which always helps from time to time. You can always pop down to the Chianti area where the famous Chianti wine is created. With a privately owned villa in the Chianti area you can always do a bit of wine tasting throughout the year. Or you could try Caprese Michelangelo, where there are many other self catering apartments, and is also the birth place of one of the greatest artists of all time - Michelangelo, so you're bound to find many old historic artefacts.

Florence isn't a a city of rest but a city of fun, excitement and lots to do. With many markets all over the city it's always worth picking up some foods taking them back to your self catering apartment and having a nice relaxing night in after a nice busy day of exploring one of the most amazing cities in the world.
