The highest elevation swamp in the world is located above Mt. Waialeale and reached by an amazing hike thru Kokee State Park. Kauai is the only island with navagitable rivers for kayaking to waterfalls. While many areas of the "Garden Island" are very remote, Kauai also has resorts, spas and upscale restaurants to accomodate travelers.
