About Dalyan:
Dalyan is only a 30 minute drive from the airport of Dalaman which is accessable from most UK airports. There are also good connections via Istanbul. The flight is around 3 and a half hours.

Because of its oustanding natural and historic surroundings, its taste of culture, the rural charm and of course the welcoming Turkish hospitality, Dalyan is your ideal holiday destination. Dalyan lies on the edge of the Dalyan Canal which joins the large inland Koycegiz lake with the Mediterranean Sea at the point of the famous Iztuzu (Turtle) Beach where the Loggerhead (Caretta) Turtles lay their eggs from June to September. Across from the river from the town are the Lycian Rock Tombs carved into the cliff face, slightly further downstream is the ancient city of Kaunos, with it's magnificent amphitheatre just a few of the local historic attractions.

Dalyan is also an ideal location for exploring the local coast line, with its own shallow child friendly beach and with many secluded bays nearby such as the snorkelling havens of Ekincik and Asi Bays. Nearby is also the sailing town of Gocek from where you can enjoy a day spent exploring the 12-Islands of Fethiye Bay on a gulet cruise.
