Valldemossa - which translates into 'beautiful girl' - is based on the north west coast of Majorca, and is a very historic town with beautiful stone streets and buildings - including the church of saint Bartomeu and the monastery which lies on an island a few miles out to sea.

The monastery is a very famous tourist attraction because it's where the famous polish musician and composer Frederic Chopin lived for a period of time when he ran away from France.

The town is very popular for young people mainly because of the night life which includes bars and restaurants but the town is still known to be very peaceful at night, so if your with the family no need to worry, with many local markets and also being a fishing town you can also pick up some fresh food during the day and stay in at one of our private self catering properties. Other benefits of this village is because all the roads are made from stone and have not been changed since the town was first created the local villagers have barred all cars from passing through the village, they have to be left just outside but the spaces where the cars are stored is very safe so no worries.

The weather is always nice and sunny which is why the beach is always in full use especially because it's so nice and sandy and you cant forget the weekends when the local fishermen like to have their little parties and discuss their week out to sea.
