Blaavand Vacation Rentals

Blaavand has it's own golf course, where you can enjoy a round of golf looking over Blaavand's beautiful lakes, canals, and of course enjoy the view of the bay and the North Sea. At the very west point of Blaavand, high up on a cliff, lies the 39-metre-high lighthouse of Blåvandshuk.

When you're in your private cottage in Blåvand, go out into the town itself and see some of the things it has to offer. Blavand still has many places where you can see some of the traditional crafts of the area. See the glassblowing, candle factory, pottery and even an amber-cutter and learn all about the traditional techniques. Blaavand also has it's own zoo, a great place to bring the family. With over 150 animals you can spend a day at the zoo and see animals such as kangaroos, llamas, camels, hyenas, lynx, monkeys, baboons and more! Of course, Blaavand is full of many cafes and restaurants, as well as several shops, making it ideal for a self-catering holiday. The town is surrounded by moors and beautiful forests, perfect for hiking. See the huge lake Filsø which is now home to a bird sanctuary.

There's also some other great places to explore in this part of Denmark. Visit the city of Billund with a privately owned farmhouse and see the original world-famous Legoland.
