Holiday makers in holiday or vacation rentals can stroll along the shore of Lake Michigan and take in all the sights and sounds associated with being on the shores of a Great Lake. The Northwestern part of the state is also part of the Chicago Metropolitan area and so vacationers can dip into the sights and sounds of and facilities of a major US city. There is also a large Amish community here and one can also explore and gain understandings of the famous Amish way of life. Further to this there are a number of state parks including Indiana Dunes State Park and Pokagon State Park. Vacationers can also enjoy great golfing facilities and a trip to Indiana National Golf Club is a must. Whether its hiking, fishing, boating or even cross-country skiing it’s all here. A great place for a holiday or vacation rental.

Indianapolis is right in the middle in central Indiana. It is a modern metropolis with plenty to do for all the family on their vacation. It is home to the Indianapolis Colts for those sporting fans amongst you. There is the Post Road Recreation Center which offers indoor carting or visit the Fort Harrison State Park or White River State Park. Fancy a trip to a zoo then also take in the White River Gardens at Indianapolis Zoo. Visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame or perhaps a relaxing trip to Plainfield and the Chateau Thomas Winery. Why not find out about the holiday and vacation rentals here?

Western Indiana has its fair share of attractions too such as the Indiana Beach Amusement Resort in Monticello. Described as Indiana’s largest amusement resort there are many exciting activities for all the family here including riding and camping. Take a look at the stunning scenery of Turkey Run State Park or go canoeing on Sugar Creek in Sugar Valley. Then obviously theirs is the golf so take a wander up to one of the golf courses that are here such as Racoon Lake Golf Course.

In Eastern Indiana go to Berne and visit Amishville USA and camp or discover a different way of life. Visit the Fort Wayne Museum of Art or the Indiana Basketball of fame in New Castle, or the Indiana Football Hall of Fame in Richmond. There is plenty of golf to be had and also many opportunities for water sports. Try out Chain O’Lakes State Park in Albion where there are eight interconnecting lakes for your fun or Summit Lake Park where you can also indulge your finest fishing fantasies.

South Central and South Indiana also offer many splendid things to do from golf and hiking, or snow sports or visit one of the many wineries in the area with many fantastic state parks and opportunities for both outdoor and indoor activities.
