Puerto Andratx Vacation Rentals

If you're looking for a 'peace and quiet' family holiday then Puerto Andratx is the perfect destination for you. Known to be 'undiscovered' with tourists but however is popular with the rich and famous and has been kept secret with them.

Although Puerto Andtrax isn't actually on the beach as it's pushed back slightly, the beach is only a hundred meters away and the walk is very well worthwhile. The port was once used as a base to protect the town and other parts of Majorca from pirates and you can still see some of the ruins of where they were attacked especially the churches, houses and some of the old walls, which some are still standing.

Even though it's still very undiscovered and not known to tourists there are still many things to be getting along with especially fishing, sailing and rock climbing, there are also many golf courses which are all within the local area.

If you fancy taking a fun 'buzzing' day with the family then you can always take a little trip down to Calvia where there are many theme parks and is famous for it's sea lion and dolphin shows. There are also many short term rental apartments in Calvia.

Another great advantage to staying in the Andtrax region is it's very close to the amazing village of Soller, which is tucked away in the mountains, Soller is very well known for the many different types of cuisine which are from the area. With one of the private cottages in Soller it's easy to see the Andtrax area, as there are great transport links connecting the towns, villages and cities - especially the trams which have been running since the beginning of the 19th century, which run all through the mountains and give you amazing views of what this area of Majorca has to offer.
