Lake Tahoe is located in between Nevada and California, and while the Californian side is much more well known for being the sensible side of the lake, the Nevada side is more known for being a mini Las Vegas.
Although being a big time ski resort and being one of the most popular in America it's definitely got to have some casino's on the Nevada side. Why? Because that's what Nevada is all about.
Lake Tahoe was created over 2 million years ago in the ice age and is the largest lake in north America and second deepest lake in America so do not attempt swimming if your not that confident.. Area's which are situated around the lake include such place like Incline Village where we have many beach houses Incline village is very well known for the Golf courses and you could try a self catering apartment in Heavenly Valley, which is most known as one of the major parts of the ski resorts, which Lake Tahoe is so famous and attractive with tourists during the winter season.
However, during the summer you have just as many activities happening so it's basically busy all through out the year. However the weather is not always warm and can get quite chilly from time to time, so be prepared for when you head out there. Also don't forget when heading out to Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side don't forget to be very prepared for the casino's as they can be very attractive from time to time.
