Head into central Massachusetts and be ready to be beguiled by the amazing countryside and the Monadnock and Wachusett Mountains. Visit Old Sturbridge Village, which will give you a real, feel of life in the early 1800’s and will really prick your imagination.In Western Massachusetts there is still more beautiful and scenic countryside to be had. Check out the Mohawk Trail or visit Greater Springfield and all it has to offer from family entertainment through to great restaurants.
South of Boston there are more great beaches and the famous Plymouth Rock. Go whale watching from the harbour or visit the famous Plymouth Plantation for at taste of pilgrim life. Take in the New Bedford Whaling Museum and really get a feel for how tough an existence this was for all concerned.
Somehow you will have to find time to take a trip to Cape Cod, Nantucket Island or the famous Martha’s Vineyard, - all wonderful places to spend a Massachusetts vacation rental.
