Explore the 13th century castle atop the mountain, and climb up the ancient battlements for the amazing views. Another place worth visiting is the town of Evora. Like Marvao and Castro Verde, Evora is rich n history, mostly from Roman times. The entire town is an open-air museum, with many historical sites available to visit, including the well-preserved Temple of Diana.
