The worldly-renowned birthplace of Greek goddess, Aphrodite, Paphos is a historic coastal town on the south-western tip of Cyprus. The lower section of the town is host to some incredible archaeological areas and a number of perfectly-positioned holiday apartments and villas.

It is quite possible to enjoy the sights and sounds of Paphos town on foot, but it would be recommended to rent a car if you have the intention of exploring further a field. Despite a relatively small coastal resort, Paphos has plenty of attractions and entertainment. A visit to the 'Tombs of the Kings' gives visitors an accurate insight into ancient burial traditions and rituals dating back to the fourth century. Meanwhile, the nearby water park offers plenty of family fun.
