Roadtown is the captial, the commercial and administrative centre of the British Virgin Islands. They are known as the sailing capital of the world and has many crewed and bareboat charters.
The islands are very close together with Anegada being the farthest island from Roadtown, approximately 25 miles. Anegada means drowned one as it is the only coral atoll and the highest point is 28 ft. and surronded by miles of pure white beaches that feel like powdered sugar. The island is surrounded by Horseshoe reef and their known for the rock iquana and the Roseate Flamingo. There is a population of approximately 200 with tourism the only source of income, with many resturants and bars places to stay.
Virgin Gorda has over 3,500 inhabitants and is famous for the unique granite rock structures that form natural sea-grottoes called the bathes. The main town is Spanish town which has a marina and boat yard and also many beautiful beaches, resturants and bars and places to stay.
Cooper island has a small beach bar and resort with a few homes scattered and a nice beach and snorkeling.
Peter island is famous for it's high end resort and beautiful beaches and snorkeling.Norman is famous for a floating resturant and bar and wonderful snorkeling.
Jost Van Dyke is known for great beaches and bars and snorkeling as well.
