The Abacos are called the family islands. They consist of Marsh Harbour/Treasure Cay (Great Abaco) and the surrounding cays, from north to south: Green Turtle Cay, Guana Cay, Scotland Cay, Man O War Cay, Elbow Cay, Lubbers Quarters.
These cays are friendly, quiet, with spectacular beaches, wonderful restaurants with local cuisine, quaint shops and a very low crime rate. There is a golf course on Treasure Cay. Come visit the Abacos, you will be sure to fall in love with the area and return year after year.
Guana Cay: Guana Cay is approximately 7 miles long and 1/2 mile wide at it's widest. Guana Cay has the most spactacular beaches of any of the out islands. The famous Nippers Beach Bar and Restaurant is located on Guana Cay. You may enjoy a dip in their pool, or take advantage of the beautiful beaches located on the western part of the island. Everything is within easy walking distance of the settlement. Beaches, restaurants and shops. This Cay is a favorite vacation destination.
