Vacation Rental Description
The villa is situated in a quiet residential area in an elevated position, with wonderful uninterrupted views to the sea. It is furnished and equipped to a very high standard with marble floors throughout. The beautiful pool is only 30 metres away off the private south facing rear garden and is shared with a small number of similar villas. There is a roof terrace which benefits from all day sun all year round and is ideal for private sunbathing. The villa is approx 5 minutes drive from the centre of Calahonda and has fast, easy access to the many local Spanish beaches from Fuengirola to Marbella. Calahonda is approximately 35 kilometres and 30 minutes drive from Malaga airport.
Bedrooms: Master bedroom with double/twin beds and patio doors to garden with en-suite shower/bathroom.
2 further twin/double bedrooms one with patio doors to garden.
All bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes.
Air conditioning recently installed.
Room fans & hairdryers are supplied for all bedrooms.
Bathrooms: En-suite master bathroom with shower/bath, wc, basin, bidet.
Large family shower room with wc, basin and walk-in shower.
Guest wc/cloakroom in entrance hall.
Kitchen: Fully equipped modern quality kitchen with granite surfaces, large fridge/freezer, further drinks fridge, hob, built-in oven/grill, dishwasher, washer/dryer microwave and toaster.
Living Room: Luxurious well furnished modern open plan lounge/diner (6 persons) with satellite TV (UK terrestrial & some satellite stations), DVD/CD player, open log fire and fully glazed patio doors opening onto the dining terrace with additional outdoor dining facilities.
Other: The south facing dining terrace has stunning views over the valley down to the Med. with a built-in barbecue, full 'al fresco' dining facilities. An awning privides shade as desired and there is a heater for winter use. The proof terrace offers alternative dining and sunbathing options and fabulous views over a green valley to the coast.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: Clean bed linen & house towels are supplied weekly.
For rental periods of 2 weeks or longer a weekly cleaning service can also included if required.
Beach/Pool towels are not supplied.
Outside - Well cared for, regularly maintained front and private rear gardens with terracotta patios and sunbeds, umbrellas and shower. Rooftop sun terrace, ideal for private sunbathing, with additional 'al fresco' dining facilities, more sun-beds and umbrellas.
Off-street parking for one car.

Facilities
Travel - Malaga Airport is approx 35 kilometres and a 30 minutes drive away and has many flights to and from the Uk on a daily basis. There are many local and international car-hire companies based at the airport, details of which can be supplied if required. Distances - Inland are the beautiful white Andalucian villages and towns of Mijas, Ojen, Istan, Benhavis, Alhaurin and Monda amongst others. Gibraltar and the old Moorish cites of Ronda, Seville, Granada and Cadiz are further away but can be reached by car on the fast, new motorways. Amenities - There are 4 restaurants and a mini-market within easy walking distance. Calahonda has many good bars and restaurants in the centres and dotted around the community, plus good local shopping options. There are also too many restaurants to list just a short drive away along the coast in both directions.
Activities
Calahonda itself has fine, safe, sandy beaches with many other local beaches all along the cost from Fuengirola to Marbella a very short drive away. The beaches, restaurants and shops of La Cala Village and Cabo Pina Port are both 5 minutes drive along the coast.
There are around 40 Golf courses on the Costa del Sol from Malaga to Gibralter with a 9-hole course in Calahonda and many others within quick, easy, reach. The nearest are Cabopino, Miraflores, La Cala & Mijas courses. Sunshine Golf in La Cala offers a booking service for all courses.
Tennis - There are many tennis clubs along the coast. In Calahonda itself you will find the Club Del Sol approx 5-10 minutes from the Villa with tennis/squash/paddle courts & gymnasium on a pay & play basis. No membership required.
We are about a 2-2½ hours drive from the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada.

A 20% deposit is required with your booking, with the balance payable 2 calendar months prior to the commencement of your holiday. At the same time an additional £150 deposit will be required to cover breakages & any excessive telephone costs incurred. This is refundable on return of the keys for the villa subject to reconciliation of the telephone usage over the rental period.
