We have been renting cottages in our village in the beautiful Charente Maritime countryside for several years and always look forward to welcoming our guests. We live new the rental property so we are on hand to help out and provide information if required. We can recommend local restaurants and places to visit including small local distilleries for sampling the famous Cognac (brandy). There are many historic sites, including the largest Roman ampitheatre outside Italy and medieval towns such as La Rochelle and Saintes. For more active visitors there is golf, canoeing, swimming in our 11m x 5m heated pool.
