Come share our summer home in Old fashioned Camp Ellis Saco Maine
We started going to Camp Ellis back in the mid 1990s.
We wanted to go to a place where we could bring our kids that was safe, peaceful, close to the beach.
Camp Ellis was it!!
Once you go grocery shopping, you really dont ever have to drive your car again while on vaction if you dont want to.
2 restaurants right in walking distance (1 open all year). A general store, gift shops. a pier so you can take one of several different boats out for different excursions.
Rent a kayak at the end of our stree and go down the saco river.
Our street is very quiet yet only 900 feet to the beach. great for families with small kids, which is what we had when we first came here.
At low tide, walk the beach for sand dollars, sea glass and shells.
some of the cottages date back to the 1890s. A bit old fashioned. Reminds of what staying at a cottage on the beach was like when we were growing up.
