We are an older couple who enjoy meeting people from all over the world. Our home seems to attract families with kids. We lived in our rental home for many years. When we moved we took our living room couch and our bed. We bought new furniture for the living room and new bedroom furniture. We left many of our favorite decorations and furnishings so as to not spoil the homey feel. Our guest always comment that the home looks and feels like a real home, and they feel warm and secure there. Within minutes of arrival, others comment that they do not want to leave. We like to keep a good supply of coffee, tea, spices and oils in the kitchen so that our guests are not out-of-pocket trying to supply the place. We have laundry detergent, Downey, and bleach on hand for laundry. We stock the home with everything from hairdryer to toothbrushes, shampoo and toiletries in case our guests have been cleaned out by airport security or have forgotten to take them. We have a variety or cleaning supplies because many of our guests have favorites. For example we have two different coffee makers as some guests prefer one maker over another. We have made many friends all over the world.
