The Aveyron is absolutely stunning for walkers. There are hundreds of miles of very well marked and mapped walks of all types. Try a local circular walk or park at Najac station and catch the train down to Cordes sur Ciel, Lagepie, Monteils or Villefranche de Rouergue and walk back. This is a great day out with a picnic.
Nina is a very keen walker and can show you lots of truly fabulous places to visit.
We are in the heart of the Tour de France countryside. If you're a keen cyclist, put the bike on the car and come and test yourself on our hills. The scenery alone will make it worthwhile.
There are markets in the local bastide towns, vinyards to visit, restaurants of all standards from cozy family restaurants to Michelin starred - all within easy reach of Pont Jalbert.
For the adventurous we can offer kayaking, horse-trekking (or lessons if you prefer), mountain biking. quad biking and rock climbing.
There are golf courses within an hours drive including the championship course at Albi.
