Hi!!
My name is Georgia Durante. I am a Stunt Driver and the author of "The Company She Keeps" my autobiography. I purchased my property in 1983 and it has been an ongoing labor of love every since. My neighbors had often complained that living across the street from me was like living across from a contruction site. Over the years I have put in over a million dollars, creating a magical paradise. The original size of the home was 2800 sq.ft. It is now 5000 sq. ft. I am 58 years old and have recently adopted a baby. I have elected to stay at home and be a mom. Renting my property is a way of making an income which allows me to be at home rather than on location and devote myself to raising my little blessing.
I have built a play house and tree house on the property (inspired by my daughter) which is a real plus for renter's with young children. The play house is a mini version of the main house with a river rock exterior, bay windows, skylights, custom made child size leather couch, bunk beds, cable TV, phone line, Kitchen, fireplace and camera system to monitor the children from inside the house. It has it's own patio with a child size umbrella table and pretend BBQ. It truly is a child's wonderland.
As a member of the Screen Actors Guild I receive many of the latest movies for voting purposes. I have quite an extensive library of films on DVD for your viewing pleasure. The Enchanted Manor has been used in many films and commercials as well as a favorite wedding venue. Nighttime is especially magical with twinkle lights in all the trees and rope lighting lining all the decks. The pool and jacuzzi lights can be set to change colors every few minutes. A favorite activity of all my renters is the fire pit. It's wonderful to sit around the fire with family and friends enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day.
The Enchanted Manor is centrally located to many of the Los Angeles tourist attractions. It is 5 minutes from Universal Studios, Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Many people in the movie industry from other countries choose The Enchanted Manor for their home away from home because the location is ideal for easily getting to the major studios and other audition sites. The LA river runs behind the property, so there is no noise from neighbors or traffic. It's a soothing place for relaxing by the pool.
People come here as strangers and leave as friends. I live on the property, but your privacy is respected. I am available 24hours a day to help to make your stay an enjoyable adventure.
